BedRock Preschool observes all major Federal Holidays. Inclement weather closings will be based on local weather and a mass e-mail will be sent to all parents regarding school closings.
In the event that a snowstorm or blizzard begins during the school day, the school will be closed early. A mass email will be sent and our website will be updated.

October: Columbus Day, Early Dismissal 3pm- Staff Development
November: Veterans Day, Thanksgiving (2 days)
December: Winter Recess
January: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
February: Presidents’ Day
March: Early Dismissal 3pm- Staff Development
April: Good Friday, Easter and Passover
May: Memorial Day
July: Independence Day
August: School Closed Staff Development
School Events:
The school offers social and informational events throughout the year. Most of these events welcome both parents and children. In the case when it is only a parent event, the school arranges for childcare during the event for children whose parents have signed up in advance. Each event is announced electronically and posted on our main bulletin board. In some cases, we may seek volunteers to help run the event.
September: “Meet and Greet” Ice Cream Social/ Curriculum Night (parents only)
October: Fall Parade, Class Photographs
November: Thanksgiving Celebration, Book Fair, Parent Teacher Conferences
December: Holiday Classroom Celebration
February: Valentine’s Day Bake Sale
April: Parent Teacher Conferences, Multicultural Festival, Book Fair, "Great Butterfly Release"
May: Mother’s Day Celebration, Graduation Picture Day, Teacher Appreciation
June: Father’s Day Celebration, Graduation/End of the Year Ceremony, Parent Teacher Conferences
July: Summer Camp
